REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: HOPKINS CANAL PIPING PROJECT JACKSON COUNTY, OR

 

The Rogue River Valley Irrigation District (RRVID) is requesting proposals to design the Hopkins Canal Piping Project (Project) in Jackson County, Oregon. The project will pipe approximately 1.2 miles of the 3 mile long Hopkins Canal with 48 inch HDPE fusion weld pipe, replacement of 2 of 3 flumes with siphons, reconfigure 12 delivery points with either a pump station or head gate . Project elements include 30% preliminary engineering, geotechnical study, survey, 90% plans, 100% plans as well as risk management assessment, bidding documents, bid review, and permitting and construction oversight.

 

The Project will be managed by RRVID working in collaboration with the United States Bureau of Reclamation and other local, state, and federal agency partners. This request for proposals (RFP) is being used to select an engineering consultant to lead the design, permitting, and construction oversight for the Project. A construction contractor will be selected at a later date and awarded a separate contract after plans and specifications have been developed.
